There really is a reason that flammables are not allowed.

listed as prohibited:  
Compressed Gases - aerosol products such as ..., butane gas, ... etc.  
Flammable Liquids and Solids - ... etc.  >> 
Please abide by the Federal Regulations ... or suffer the consequences. 
Your Thru-hike MAY BE delayed a few years.
