[pct-l] cell phones.

I agree with what was said ealier about cell phones, analog, ATT and Verizon,

If you are planninng on spending time at VVR (Edison LAke) ATT is (or perhaps was) your only choice. ATT was the only thing there in 2003, and I gladly shared my phone. Reception was weak at VVR, had good luck at the boat dock and very good reception in the middle of the lake when returning to the trail via the Boatride (no, I wasn't walking on the water). Also excelent reception on the top of Bear ridge? I think it is called....

According to a friend of mine, Verizon is better for Southern CA. Seems to think coverage is a little better...Havn't had a chance to test this theory yet.

I have done some reasearch according to the respective coverage maps, I don't think you are going to have much luck North of I5 in Oregon, and even worse in Washington due to the large gaps, but I bet Cascade locks will be both good for many carriers, but then again, payphones would be plentiful to.

Did those English teachers have fun finding the errors in my run-on sentense?
