Hi Bill,
The Walking Carrot and I will be thru hiking the PCT this year and look
forward to meeting you at the Kick Off as well as experiencing your
legendary hospitality when we are farther north!! Thank you for all you
have done and continue to do for the hikers. Trail Angels, Trail Magic and
the general warmth of people we meet have always left us with an incredible
"high on humanity" feeling during and after our other thru hikes, and we
know it wil be the same this time.

"What lies before us and what lies behind us are small matters compared to
what lies within us. And when we bring what is within out into the world,
miracles happen." - Henry David Thoreau

>Pooh Corner receives mail drops, provides sleeping space, meals, showers,
>laundry, etc. We take hikers to the supermarket, stores and the post office
>in Truckee as well as the post office in Soda Springs. We also make
