[pct-l] Forest Service PCT Maps Sample at Trail Fest

Personally, I would rather they spent the $ on maintenance/repair. Most thru
hikers use nothing but the guidebook maps on the trail anyway. Though the
new maps may be pleasing aesthetically, I'd rather see the FS's meager funds
spent more practically. IMHO.

Wow! That site mentions (and shows a couple pictures of) the Forest Service
plan of publishing 10 plastic -type small scale maps of the PCT.  Very cool!
Did anyone who attended Trail Fest get an idea of when they will be made
available? Dang! Woo-hoo!
