The map A4 shown in the current book is not a relic.  However older
guidebooks, 70' s and early 80's, show a different map A4.  The older map
A4 showed the trail going down the road to Campo  from Lake Morena and that
map is a relic. This was in the days when the trail when the terminus was
planned several miles west and before it was even routed down to Hauser
Creek.

I think they will correct this in next updates of the book and we'll keep
answering the question on this end.
