[pct-l] Pocketmail devices

I'm seriously considering using Pocketmail this summer.  

I notice on ebay that there are a couple different old devices available: the 
Sharp TM-20 and the JVC HC-E100 are going for $40 or less.  The PocketMail 
Composer is selling on the pocketmail.com website for $99.  

Any thoughts on the current usability of the Sharp or JVC models as opposed 
to the Composer?
