[pct-l] Need advice on section hiking/first time/kids too

...I have been longing to hike a few days 4 years and  was going to last year 
w/  my 2 girls,now 11& 12.........now w/ boyfriend in tow I am eager 
again......I am presently @ my brothers in Bakersfield......having been on a road 
trip/move ........heading north to Oregon......Id like any advice on where,this 
time of year ,would be wise and fun to hike a few days and nites.....on the 
PCT........between Bakersfield to Oregon.....northbound.Thanx in advance.....tammy
