Ship two weeks ahead of time?

Be kind of hard to do if you're resupplying at Cascades Locks to get you're
stuff to Whites Pass!

Imo, Priority Mail is a waste of money. I've shipped packages on three major
trails and have NEVER LOST one or out hiked one using Parcel Post.

Using the USPS shippers assistant program, for a 10lb package from Cascades
Locks to Whites Pass, Priority Mail takes 2 days and $8.40, Parcel Post takes 2
days and $5.63. Same results for all of Washington including Stehiken and
most of Oregon. The savings are more for heavier packages, but the time remains
constant.

YMMV, but usually the PO's doesn't,
