[pct-l] Food Packages -- Priority Mail vs. First Class

Priority Mail or UPS/Federal Express are sure to make it and fast. Normal US
Mail is good some places and not others, but I wouldn't trust it.

At Independence, we needed to wait an extra day because our non Priority
Mail packages was late. Never got a package at Skykomish - it did arrive
very late but was returned home very fast. I had REI ship me a replacement
pack by UPS - arrived very fast.

We had heard (maybe rumor) that non Priority US Mail could be tampered with
and wasn't handled in a timely manner. Sort of like, you pay for what you
get.

food packages. Were there significant delays in arrival? Any packages that
did not show up? Damage in shipment, etc. Yogi has made her opinion clear
in her Handbook. What have others experiences been? .... John
