[pct-l] RE: National Geographic Adventure magazine



Wow!!! It's really great to see our scenic trails get attention from such a
respected publication, especially during a time when trail maintenance
will require some hefty funding. This is fabulous!

However, ironically, the official PCT guidebook gives an alternate route to 
the section where NGS will shoot.

It's understood the need for easy access to a trail section of the PCT for the
article. Washington and Oregon (especially Northern Washington) have *many* 
spectacular sections.

In my opinion, the chosen section is not it.

But hey, beggers can't be choosy. It's great exposure for the well being of the
trails and I'm sure all advocates of the trail will echo one great big Thank you!
