[pct-l] Butane/propane availability?



Greetings all,

I'm thinking of using a Coleman F1 stove on my PCT thru' hike (sorry, my
ATTEMPTED thru' hike!) starting April 21.

Can anyone advise me as to whether the availability of Coleman-style
Butane/Propane gas cartridges is widespread? I remember buying the
cartridges at Tuolumne Meadows stores four years back but have always
understood it to be not that widely available in the States.

Also, just came across this news piece - knowledge of the news item might
already be widespread I guess:
