i have also done the HST and it is indeed a trail with
much to recommend it.  Precipice Lake, situated at the
western end of Kahweah Gap, is possibly the most
beautiful spot i have ever seen in my life.

the Sierrapalooza photos are much nicer, but only
cover the HST as far as Big Arroyo.
