I have one of Kurts first tents, and have spent 7 or 8 months in it since I got it maybe 6 or 7 years ago , I'm guessing at that. I love the tent ,my son will be using it on the PCT this year, and I am getting a new one. I have slept on rocks, sticks, and squeezed in between bushs and have never put a hole in it. His new ones have more vetilation, and use small zippers instead of velcro, like my old one. There is however a long waiting list as he makes them all himself.
