Just received the Canadian entry permits today, both of them. I mailed a request in last November and a duplicate a couple of weeks ago. You should be getting yours soon, if not already.

Like you, I mailed my request in early and did not get a response. I gave the RCMP's a call in January. The officer that handles these requests advised that he does not start this "project" until February.
With the change in the Canadian zip code, found on the PCTA web, and the bold warnings not to submit the request until three months before entry, I submitted a second request just to be safe.

I sent in my paperwork to Canadian Immigration in early December, and have
not received anything back yet. I know it is supposed to take a while, but
am starting to get concerned. Has anyone actually gotten their entry
permit back?
Cheers
