[pct-l] Section A

Mark,

I hiked section A in late March during an El Nino year and road walked
about 30 miles in the Laguna's. This is not an El Nino year at this time.
As long as the storms leave you alone from about 4000 ft and above you
should be fine. You might have some snow in the Laguna's, miles 30-50 in
the book, but you can jump off to the road if you need to. The southern
most part of SoCal is more likely to have its storm in late winter, early
spring, so be prepared. When the storms hit expect high wind and rain/snow
howling from the west.

Buy the San Diego Co. Recreation Map, it make alternate plans much easier
to figure out. If the weather will hold for week you will have a nice
hike. If not just do what you can..........

Enjoy,
