[pct-l] MT Whitney PCT

funny how we take for granted what's in our own
backyards.  i've never been to the Chinese Theatre or
Rodeo Drive, but i've lived an hour outside Los
Angeles for most of my life.  to each their own, i
respect that.  and when i had a once in a lifetime
chance to visit Chicago for free, i went to the Sears
tower.  i'm unashamed of my tourism.  i wanted the
experience, and even though the tower was kind of a
letdown (they don't let you stand on top!) i don't
regret it at all.  

to me, it seems silly to skip The Whitney Experience
when it's so close by, but then we all travel for our
own reasons and i'm easily distracted. ;) i'd rather
do a thing and then make my conclusions, rather than
look back and wish i'd found out for myself.  oh, and
the toilet comment was 100% in jest.

again, to each their own.
