We'll be testing Keen sandals on BGT as soon as it warms up a bit. Jerry

I have been using Bite sandals with SuperFeet insoles (Velcro taped to
sole
of sandal). Very comfortable and no foot problems. The new REI catalog
has
Keen sandals and I have looked at them at Galyans here in Las Vegas.
They look
good too. I use light weight hiking socks with the sandals and use
Burt's
Bees Milk & Honey lotion (excellent - highly recommended) for hands and
feet
(bears like that). You certainly do not want your skin to dry out on
the trail.
Happy trails, Switchback
