[pct-l] Socal guide -- map A4



It all becomes clear when you have a copy of the guide form 1977.... the
PCT at that time followed the roads
north out of campo and did not meet up with the actual tread until were it
currently crosses Kitchen Creek Road
10 miles north of Lake Morena - 30 miles north of the boarder.

On the current 2003 edition you can see on Map A4 Buckman Spring Road and
then Cameron Road which the
PCT followed in 1977 -- this is what is indicated by the relic route.

I asked this question a while ago, but never got an answer: Can anybody 
explain what the box below map A4 is referring to? Is that section no longer 
in use? If so, it makes no mention of where the trail should be instead. I'm 
confused.
