[pct-l] For the Petzl Tikka/Zipka users

I actually got a notice from backpackinglight that the lithium AAAs will
not be available until December. You can get the Energizer e2 AAAs they
are talking about at REI and other places. They are definitely better
than any other alkaline, but do not have the cold-weather performance of
lithium batteries.

Although I am sure backpackinglight would not try to rip anybody off,
their prices are nothing special. I just bought a thru-hike supply of
Energizer L544 batteries (for the BD Ion) from batteries.com for less
than $6 each ($7.99 on backpackinglight). I think the online-market for
batteries is probably way too competitive for a small outfit like
backpackinglight. Shop around.

Kent.
