[pct-l] 4-month PCT hike

I think the question isn?t if you can do a PCT hike in 4 months.  What you 
have to figure out is if you can do the last 1961 miles between 
approximately June 10 and the date you have to finish.

Unless you are experienced with snow/ice travel, you do not want to leave 
Kennedy Meadows prior to around June 10.  It seems like most hikers shoot 
for a June 15 KM date, and most leave KM a bit earlier than June 15.  Some 
leave KM as early as the first week in June.
