A couple of years ago a woman section hiking section A came into Lake Morena 
and set her pack down against the fence near the entrance and went over to the 
nearest picnic table and sat down to rest.  A pickup truck pulled up, grabbed 
her pack and sped off.   When everything you NEED is on your back, don't 
leave your pack unattended ever.  A pack was stolen in 1977 also.
