I've sectioned hiked alone once for 35 days and another with a girlfriend
for 30 days.

On the 35 day trip I acclimated to trail life about day 20, and lost it
about day 30 when after my last food drop I began anticipating leaving the
trail.  On the 30 day trip I never did get into the rhythm.  I was much more
into the rhythm of being a six month old couple on the trail, with all the
developmental challenges that suggests...
