[pct-l] First big snow in Cascades

Hey Dave,
I bet you will be right this year, it is about time for a early snow year.
In the 36 years I lived, worked and skied at Crystal Mtn. Wash. my eldest
son skied on his birthday at least six times on Oct. 24th with the area
operating limited chairlifts.
Lately ski areas are lucky to be in operation by Thanksgiving with man made
snow.
