[pct-l] Water Sources from Big Bear to Three Points in Oct.

We hiked from Islip Saddle to Cooper Canyon ( and back again) this weekend. At the Little Rock Creek Crossing, there are two tiny pools of water where the creek runs to the surface then dives underground again. Just past the Burkhardt trail junction, Little Rock Creek runs on the surface for about 100
yards and you cross it. 3 tenths of a mile further (past the Buckhorn Camp trail junction) you cross Cooper Creek, which is running nicely. We hiked up the trail toward Buckhorn Camp just a little ways, crossed the trickle coming down to join Cooper Creek, and made camp on the opposite bank on a
large flat. We did not get to Cooper Canyon trail camp. A trail crew is camped there, and working on the Buckhorn camp trail. (They passed us in the morning and we heard their chain saws.) If they are camped there, I would bet there is running water there.
It was certainly a pleasant surprise to find all this water running in the Cooper Canyon area.

I am concerned about water along the route and would appreciate any info as to whether stream are flowing or springs have dried up this late in the year.
