[pct-l] Elk Lake Resort resupply

Why not give them a call or e-mail them at (found this on the Web). They
accepted packages in 2000, no charge, and had a great hiker-camper box. Not
too much in the way of groceries, though. But, there was a small restaurant
if you got there at the right time. May have changed.

By the way, we were just up in the area over the 4th. Absolutely perfect
weather. Snow is going fast on the trails - none by the lakes. Some forest
fires making haze, but if the winds are right (as they were), the smoke was
in Bend and not in the mountains.

Is the Elk Lake Resort still a reliable resupply stop in Oregon? I mailed a
parcel there seven years ago and it worked out fine, but that was a long
time ago! I will be there on about July 18. Thanks!
