[pct-l] Bakersfield or Stockton

I'm getting on the PCT at Walker Pass on June 7, and I'm taking public
transportation most of the way. (I'm hiking only the Sierra this year.)

Looks like I'll have to spend the night in either Stockton or Bakersfield.

Does anyone know a cheap place to stay in Stockton near the Amtrak station?
(more likely option)

Does anyone know a cheap place to stay in Bakersfield near either near
Amtrak or the GET Downtown Transit Center?
