Any recommendations for Bridgeport;  backpacker friendly motel or 
restaurant? Had a pleasant chat on  the phone with the Apex Inn 13 miles 
from trail at the "Y" at South Lake Tahoe. $30/night midweek. Says you 
can send a food drop to him too. No pick up unless emergency.
