[pct-l] Fire

Great to see those emails in my inbox today, I had withdrawal symptoms not
receiving the great postings. I loved the items about the emotional
despairs and joys of solo walking. Does anyone identify with arriving at a
known campsite after seeing no person for 6 days and scanning for a
tell-tale wisp of camp fire smoke and then seeing none. O Well maybe some
human company tomorrow.
On a more serious note, has anyone noticed that with global warming and
greenhouse effect and el Ninio it seems harder to get a campfire started
these days?
Perhaps Fire is losing its potency?
regards to all David B from Australia.
