[pct-l] Clothing



I would take the Go lite parka, add a shell to act as both a wind break and
rain protector. Take the nylon pants. Take a 100 weight polar fleece pants
and shirt.( you need to wear something while doing laundry) add socks and a
knit hat and that should get you through anything you will encounter in the
Sierras. All this weighs less than 4 pounds. ( parka 1 lb., shell 1 lb.,
nylon pants 1/2 lb, polar fleece 1 lb, socks and hat 6 oz. Shorts are optional
 Of course, if you are an ultralite, you can eliminate most of this stuff and
just crawl into your bedding before you chill down at dusk.
