It's not just the national parks that don't allow dogs on trails. California state parks have the same rule. You will enter Anza Borrego Desert State Park about a mile north of Pioneer Mail (Mt. Laguna), perhaps on day 3 or 4. Anza Borrego allows dogs on roads but not on trails. Other state parks include San Jacinto, Burney Falls, and Castle Crags. Good luck, AsABat
