I guess so. We were really worried about it since our group really hates them.
I just remember that beautiful Ranger named Mary in Bishop who said "they are
not required". I would have married her on the spot.
Of course we saw no bears, tons of microbears, and an occasional mini-bear. Of
course I will forgo the comical recollection of our attempts to counterbalance
a pack full of food.
