I don't think that it would significantly effect mountain uplifting, however, 
if glaciation was sustained longer than the natural cycle allowed then it 
might have eroded the Continental Divide down to the Arbuckle Mountain's 
level (a few hundred feet)!

God this is getting off the list focus.
