I've been using grain alcohol (ethanol - Evercleer) in my stove for a =
few years. Seem to work as well as denatured alcohol (methanol) or Heet. =
Aside from the usual physical and emotional hazards from =
over-indulgence, it's non-toxic too.
I think you could take that both on the plane and mail it, since it =
should be classed as food (hic). May not be sold in Calif., but its =
available in Nevada. 150 proof rum might do it to.
