[pct-l] Section A & B water/snow conditions

Hi!  I've been lurking for awhile.  I will be hiking the PCT in sections
sequentially over the next few years.  I have just completed Sections A and
B.  For those of you who have not yet started out, here's an update on the
water sources my party used or saw or directly heard about from other
hikers.  Also an update on Fuller Ridge snow conditions - might be redundant
info with other posts, but I guess too much info is better than too little
:)

April 13:
   Campo Creek - water
   Hauser Creek - dry
   Lake Morena Campground - water
April 14:
   Cottonwood Creek crossing - sluggish water
   Boulder Oaks Campground - water on
   Cibbets Flat Campground - water on
   Long Canyon - water in creek
April 15:
   Burnt Rancheria Campground - water off
   Mt Laguna Visitor's Center near PO - water fountain
   Penny Pines - water on
   Pioneer Mail Picnic Area - some old water in horse trough
April 16:
   Rodriquez Spur Truck Trail junction - water in CDF fire tank
April 17:
   Scissors Crossing - several Trail Angel caches
   San Felipe Creek - water flowing
April 18:
   San Felipe Hills - 3rd Pipe Gate - Trail Angel water cache ~ 55 gallons
   Barrel Springs - water trickling into horse trough
April 19:
   San Ysidro Creek - water
   Canada Verde - water
   Warner Springs - stayed at resort
April 20:
   Aqua Caliente Creek - water
   Lost Valley Spring - water trickling into small trough
   Chihuahua Valley Road - silver water tank at private home had water
April 21:
   Tule Creek - stagnant water
   Tule Spring - good water flow according to other hikers
   Nance Canyon - dry
   Sandy Jeep Road at mile 144.8 - Trail Angel water cache of 3 gallons
April 22:
   Penrod Canyon Creek - dry
   Tunnel Spring - water trickling into horse trough
   Cedar Spring - water and good camping according to other hikers
April 23:
   Apache Spring - water trickling into small trough
   Tahquitz Valley - water in creek slowly flowing about .5 miles down trail
April 24:
   Strawberry Cienga - a little water
   North Fork San Jacinto River (mile 186.4) below Deer Springs - water
April 25:
   Snow Canyon fountain - water on

Fuller Ridge:  I can confirm the previous post that there are several
patches of hard, slippery ice on the trail.  The patches are only a few
yards long at the most and can be easily bypassed as they occur on slopes
that are not very steep.  An ice axe is not required.  On April 24th, as we
hiked through the Fuller Ridge trail section, we had about 2 hours of steady
rain.

Thanks to all the Trail Angels that have left water caches.  Good luck and
happy hiking to the class of 2002!  I wish I could continue on this year.  I
will be continuing on next year with Sections C, D, E and possibly F
probably starting about the first week of May.  If anyone is interested in
