[pct-l] Snake Bites

An MD-friend of mine (Internal Medicine) told me he has only encountered =
two snake-bite cases in his entire career. Interestingly enough, he =
said,  both were from the SAME snake but about a year apart. It seems =
like this gal had a pet rattler and both persons bitten were drunk boy =
friends who were trying to impress her with their bravery around snakes. =
Drunken men get really dumb!

So beware of any NW women who has a pet rattler!

The snow in the mountains around Stehekin is melting rapidly so it =
should be possible to get in some local hiking reasonably soon.
