Fw: [pct-l] RE: hitchiking 101

Ken & Marcia, I don't know what official NPS policy is, but I have
hitchhiked numerous times in National Parks with a problem. I have been
given rides by park rangers and I have had park employees find rides for
me.

I hitchhiked about 3000 miles last year, and I think Robs advice is right
on. Long-distance hitching is different beast in some ways because
hitching on the interstate requires different strategies. Also, hitching
overseas is completely different as well. (Or so I've heard.)
