Great report on the ULA Pack.  I am geartesting it now and will also take
it down to the Kick Off PTC weekend.
You have one thing on yours that I did not realize was available:

" pole pocket (for transporting Lekis and tent poles, neatly hidden under
one of the
side mesh pocket), and all at 2.5 pounds!"

Was this an option? I sure do not find it on my pack.  That is one thing
that is really great about this small company, they will do anything you
want and
have a number of options.  Mine weighs 1 lb 11 oz. I have been trying it
this past
month without the hipbelt.
