Hello Everyone

I don't know if this has been reported, but we passed Stefan on 8 August
just short of Manning Pk and he expected to finish in 85 days. His spirits
were HIGH and he was looking forward to finishing his trip. He appeared to
be very healthy but not as svelte and trim as I expected! He has been eating
well it would appear.

The water situation between Manning and Stehekin was not bad considering the
lack of snow left in the hills. Plenty of water between Manning and Harts
Pass and a bit on the dry side on the middle 3rd between harts Pass and
Rainy Pass.

Ah, the nice tub-bath felt great this afternoon!
