I wanted to give everyone a heads-up that the new
online issue of backpackinglight.com is now out. There
are some good articles on lightweight backpacking
principles as well as geartesting information (and
even an interview of Lynne Whelden by yours truly
coming out August 6).

For those of you not familiar with this website, it is
an all-volunteer (no-profit?) website put out by
backpackers like yourself with the intent to promote
the priciples of lightweight backpacking. I would
encourage everybody to consider participating by
providing content for this site. The editors are
looking for well-written articles, geartest comments,
and editorials.
