I have Delorme Topo USA, 3D Topo Quads for Washington, Garmin Mapsource and
Topo! ( now National Geographic) software. Topo! is the best hands down. If
I had been able to compare before I bought I would have only bought Topo!

It's the software.  Consistently comes up short on trails here in the NW.
