[pct-l] Goat Rocks Wilderness/Packwood Glacier

Has anyone gone across Packwood Glacier, thru Goat Rocks Wilderness recently
that could provide a report of snow/ice conditions?? Is it possible, or even
better to over Old Snowy and avoid the glacier? We are thinking of doing a
weekend backpack across there, from Walupt Lake up to PCT and across to White
