I returned from CA a week ago.  I began my hike at Walker pass and finished at Sonora Pass.  I came home early because I realized that at this point in my life getting a teaching contract was more important than hiking.  I wanted to thank all those who gave me information and help with my hike.  Dan and I both had a wonderful time in the High Sierras.  It was a vacation to beat all!  I'm already making my plans to go back next summer.  Gail
