[pct-l] 'old' items and PCT Guide

Christine and others,

Love hearing about the 'old' gear. The older I get the definition of =
'old' changes!!   What is it telling me when the '70's do NOT sound =
'old'??!!     :(

I just paid, gulp, $35.00 (ebay) for the '77 edition of the Guide Book =
thinking it was a rare treat.  Since then, I've heard of MANY people =
w/that one and even the first edition....oh well.

An older backpacker who refuses to be 'old'!!  So there......
