Hi all,

When hiking I wear trail running shoes. I'm wondering, what does the
'average'
thru-hiker wear when transitioning from a dry climate to the snowy
climate of
the Sierra's?

Do most people just trudge through the snow in their sneakers? Or do
they
mail boots ahead? If anyone opts for sneakers in the snow, do you have
any
suggestions to keep your feet healthy?
