I checked the webpage this evening on the 4 guys who were trying to run
the John Muir Trail in four days. They were trying to go from Yosemite
Valley to Red's Meadows[57 miles and lots of elevation gain] in one day
and then run 3 equally difficult days. I ached for them just reading the
plan. They quit at Red's Meadows. It sounded like they kind of split up
and arrived at different times. Hey, at least they tried. I barely made
the same trip in 16 days and thought I was moving right along!
