I found one of these on Bibliofind.com a few months ago for $15.00.
Bibliofind is an old book search service that puts you in touch with many
small independent sellers of out of print books. Check it out, it can be
much cheaper than Ebay.

I finished a section hike of "C" a few days ago and hope to post a synopsis
soon, when I catch up at work.....

Poo, I had this one or one a little earlier (including the 1977 (or
'79) supplement), but I ripped the front cover off and mailed it in so I
could get a 30% discount from the publisher on the new edition.

Looks like I will be going in on June 16 and coming out at Whitney Portal on
June 23. Anyone else planning to do this section? I hope to have my non
food/water pack weight under 15 pounds. Cheers, Switchback

The area San Joaquin River basin area appeared to have much less snow than
last year. It appears to be about 3 weeks ahead of last year in terms of
snow melt runoff, that is equivilent to mid-June 2000 in terms of snow pack
and stream crossings. As reported elsewhere, this is a year to leave Kennedy
Meadow early.
