[pct-l] Firsts and list relevance

Forgot to mention (I'm like that), if one wants to remain true to the 
Continental Divide but not necessarily the official "designated" route, it 
sometimes passes through private property.  There's a chance as an 
independent hiker, the owners will give you permission to cross their 
property, but don't seem to be all that enthusiastic about having the federal 
government creating a fixed trail across their land.

Anyway, Brian has a pass with me so far, even if he did road walk some of NM. 
 I applaud his attempt.
