[pct-l] Snow and road conditions....

It is interesting that in the past week we have seen posts that report-

Unusually dry conditions in Northern Ca. (drought emergency),  Dry conditions in extreme So. Cal, east of San Diego, Wetter than normal conditions east of LA in the San Gabriels.  As a Weather Channel fan (who is your favorite meteorologist?)it seems that I observed the few big storms that hit came right over the LA Basin and missed San Diego and southern and central Sierra. Otherwise how do you explain this type of weather year? 

I'll be out on the 20th of May to tackle section C and hope that the temperature in the pass at N Palm Springs is not over 100!
