Mr. Calliger,
Apparently your are mixing water penetration or permeable with
condensation. For your edification, here is the applicable dictionary
definition of condensation:
Condensation
2b : the conversion of a substance (as
water) from the vapor state to a denser
liquid or solid state usu. initiated by a
reduction in temperature of the vapor

Condensation is something different than water penetrating through a
somewhat porous material.
Ground cloth under the tent may reduce the quantity of water from
outside the tent that penetrates into the tent; however such penetration
is not condensation.
