Jim and Kelly contacted me tonight, and relayed the message that the
Warner Springs Ranch has simple rooms for hikers for $25 per night.  I
do not know how many are available at that rate at any given time.  They
are simple rooms, and lack both a phone and a TV.  Their restaurant is
also available, with the cheaper supper entrees (lasagna) beginning
around $13, and steaks in the $20 range.  The grill at the golf course
is still serving hikers as well, with sandwiches $6 and $7.

Paul Miller in Anza is placing water north of the "jeep road" located at
the top of map B4 (after Nance Canyon).

Meadow Ed is in the vicinity.

Barrell Springs is running strong from the pipe into the trough.
